Next-Gen Nissan Micra at Paris Motor Show

2017 Nissan Micra

The Paris Motor Show has traditionally been where the world’s car makers show off their most deluxe and luxurious models. Nissan took a somewhat different approach, using the occasion to unveil the next-generation Nissan Micra that will be available soon at your Calgary, AB Nissan dealership. As it turns out, Paris might have been just the right venue.

Here’s why: the Nissan Micra available at Sunridge Nissan has always struck a delicate balance between price and practicality. With the 2017 Nissan Micra, this new Nissan pulls off a hat trick worthy of Gordie Howe. First, it ups the ante on style, translating the Nissan design language into a smaller package, looking sleeker while keeping a sense of proportion. Second, it’s expected to be light on the wallet — don’t expect it to creep into Nissan Altima territory — despite some great new features.

Third are those new features. These include options like a new six-speaker Bose audio system, Apple CarPlay, better audio processing, a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen, and — later in the model year — a more powerful engine. But that’s not even the best part; the Nissan Micra will also have the option to include blind spot warning, pedestrian detection, intelligent emergency braking with pedestrian recognition, and lane departure prevention.

We’re not sure yet which trim levels will have which features available. At this point, we’re just thrilled that a great car we’ve offered for years to our Calgary-area customers is about to get even better. After all, many of these features aren’t even common to some brands’ higher-priced cars, and Nissan is bringing them to the fun and quirky Nissan Micra.

We invite you to call (800) 665-4954 or visit Sunridge Nissan at 3131 32nd Ave NE in Calgary, AB today to learn more or to test-drive a great new Nissan.
