Meet the 2017 Nissan Rogue

The Nissan Altima used to rule the roost when it came to the best-selling Nissan cars. The Nissan Rogue took its place this year, and it looks like it won’t give up its new position without a fight. The 2017 Nissan Rogue — available soon to the Strathmore, AB drivers served by Sunridge Nissan — is dressed (and driven) for success.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue gets a mildly refreshed interior and exterior as it hits the middle of its second generation. Both its front and rear fascias have a look that’s aggressive but still attractive. There’s a new Platinum Reserve interior package that adds two-tone leather and a quieter ride.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid was introduced at the beginning of September and is expected to give the crossover’s sales an electrically-assisted boost. In its front-wheel drive version, it’s expected to get 34 mpg combined, with the all-wheel drive version coming in at a still-excellent 33 mpg combined.

A limited edition Nissan Rogue tied to Star Wars: Rogue One is also in the offing. All that’s been shown up to this point is an exterior photo of the crossover (with a striking metallic red finish) and its limited edition badge. Expect to see more when it’s officially shown for the first time in November at the 2016 Los Angeles Anto Show.

Nissan Safety Shield (including Intelligent Cruise Control, Pedestrian Detection, and Forward Emergency Braking) will now be available as part of the upper SL Platinum Reserve trim. Other available features include Lane Departure Warning/Prevention, 19-inch alloy wheels, motion-activated liftgate, and a refreshed interior that includes new upholstery and a redesigned center stack.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue will be joining the other new Nissan vehicles soon at Sunridge Nissan. Call (800) 665-4954 for more information, or stop by to reserve yours today. We serve Strathmore, AB and Cochrane, AB from our showroom at 3131 32nd Ave NE in Calgary, AB.
