Enjoy a Day Trip Near Calgary!

2016 Nissan Sentra

There are few places on the face of this planet anywhere near as beautiful as Alberta. Those of us who live and work in and around the city of Calgary know just how lucky we are to enjoy the best of the city and the sprawling nearby Canadian Rockies mountain range, as there aren’t a lot of cities on this continent that get so well-rounded an experience.

From Airdrie, AB to Canmore, AB to Okotoks, AB, there are plenty of things to do around Calgary, and when behind the wheel of your vehicle purchased here at Sunridge Nissan, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the province. Take a look at some of our favorite day trips around Calgary:

Royal Tyrrell Museum – Drumheller is the dinosaur capital of the world, and the Tyrrell Museum shows visitors exactly why. There are all kinds of dinosaur goodies to see here, making it an ideal stop for families with kids who love those giant extinct animals.

Kananaskis Country – This would be a fantastic day drive, particularly in one of the more spacious Nissan vehicles like the Nissan Maxima or Nissan Murano, as it requires an itinerary that takes visitors through Bragg Creek, Turner Valley, Black Diamond, and Longview. There are great trails to hike and plenty of sights to see, and the drives in between offer plenty to look at, too.

Banff National Park – If you do want to go see those Canadian Rockies, Banff National Park is a great way to go about it. While there’s plenty to do there for several days, visitors could manage a visit to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise in a single day, and there may not be better views of God’s green earth in all of Alberta.

As your local Calgary, AB Nissan dealership, we want you to make the most out of your automobiles, and these are great day trips that can help you do exactly that!
