Holiday Events Near Calgary, AB

Here at Sunridge Nissan, we know full well how great it is to spend the holidays in Calgary, AB. Canada is a vast and expansive country but you don’t have to travel far to experience art and culture. For families looking to make the most of the holiday season, that’s a great thing, as all they have to do is hop into their great family Nissan automobiles and drive to some of the really fun events going down this December in the Calgary area.

There are, for example, a number of fantastic Christmas plays and holiday theatre events in Calgary over the course of the next few weeks, including the 25th anniversary of the “A Christmas Carol” at the Max Bell Theatre in the Arts Commons, which runs through Christmas Eve, as well as “The Nutcracker,” which currently is running at the Cardel Theatre through December 16.

Also, at Aspen Crossing in Mossleigh, families can take their children on a short drive in their Nissan Murano to a real-live Polar Express train ride, which plays music for kids, serves them hot chocolate while they’re on board and even gets them an opportunity to meet Santa Claus in person. It’s an incredibly fun and incredibly memorable experience for all sorts of families, and it’s happening this month just outside of Calgary.

For those that like raising money for charity, there’s also the Santa Shuffle, a race that raises money for The Salvation Army in their busiest month of the year.

December is a great time for families, and we hope that our great Nissan family vehicles can help you make the most of the season with so many great things to do right here in Calgary. Happy holidays to all of our Sunridge Nissan customers!
